Water and energy are precious everywhere and especially Tuscany. Please use water, gas and electricity carefully. Please switch off all lights when going out. The tap water is drinkable.
The fire extinguishers can be found in the top garden shed on the west side of the property. The key is in a little tin can hanging in the Casa’s loggia.
The gas lever at the stove should be horizontal for open. Please close the gas (down position) when you are not using the stove.
Please sort your waste into clean paper/cardboard, and glass/plastic, and non-recyclable. Please drop them at the recycling stations on the Lecchi/Radda road. For non-recyclable please empty daily into the dumpster at the vineyard. If you have a lot of organic waste, this can be recycled at the COOP turnoff. Our compost heap is not in action yet.

If there is a water restriction letter flapping in the wind on the communal tap at the entrance to the village, please do not water the garden. If it rains, there are plastic basins under the sink that you could use for collecting rain for the plants. If there is not a letter on the tap, please water the pot plants once a week.
If we can be of any assistance please WhatsApp or email us. Wishing you a super stay. Alison Green and Barry Gould
