What people say about the Blue Mountain Trail
An absolutely blissful 3 days of walking while being so well taken care of by our Guides and the staff back at home base. The trail is manageable and each day leaves you feeling challenged, refreshed and ready for a good rest. The personalised wine tastings and amazing food each day made it a truly memorable and highly enjoyable experience overall. Thank you to Alison and the entire Blue Mountain Trail team for a great 3 day break from the grind. Soul and body restored.
Fantastic experience which exceeded my expectations. I loved everything about this trip. The hikes were challenging enough that I had adequate exercise. The area we hiked in was magnificent. And adding wine tasting at fabulous, different wine estates and wonderful meals to each day made it absolute perfection.I can highly recommend this trip.
This is an exceptional 3-day guided trail that leads you through abundant fynbos slopes where the colours dazzles, to a magnificent view point that gives a “blue” panorama from Betty’s Bay to Walker Bay in the distance. At other times of year, a blue floral species gives the name to the route.Guides Geoffrey and Patrick ensured our levels of comfort and safety along the walk ; breakfast / lunch stops are exceptionally well thought out, and your base at Wildekrans Country House offers all the charm and comfort of a home away from home! Delicious food and wine tastings are included, as well as transfers to starting and ending points.
