In 2010, the Langebaan Beach Cottage joined the Green Mountain collection, after many years of serving as Alison’s family holiday home which is set amongst olive trees, secluding it from the west coast winds. This self-catering beachfront 6-sleeper cottage is on the main beach. It is a short strolling distance from the surf and the popular restaurant Pearly’s, which Alison fondly remembers as an ice-cream parlor called “Franel’s Tea Room”. It is a simple and uncluttered home offering a space to really relax, with warmer nights spent outside around the stone braai place which Barry built. The cottage is a seaside cottage with three bedrooms, two doubles and one twin, each with its own bathroom, and a living area which includes an open-plan kitchen.
